NSU Office of Public Relations Receives Awardsv

TAHLEQUAH The Northeastern State University Office of Public Relations recently received several awards by the Oklahoma College Public Relations Association for high quality work in the areas of writing, photography and design.

Media Relations Coordinator Sean Michael Kennedy received an Excellence Award in Feature Writing for The People Behind Proud series. Photographer Kelly Hobart received an Achievement Award in Digitally Enhanced Photography General for the NSU Clocktower Series. Assistant Director for Media and Marketing Elizabeth Anderson earned an honorable mention for the Emerald Ball Invitation.

Northeastern participates annually in OCPRA competition, which is open to public and private colleges and universities throughout Oklahoma. Awards were presented at the organizations annual meeting held last week at the Tanglewood Resort on Lake Texoma.
