High School Students Invited To NSU RiverHawk Rally

Published: 2007-10-24

TAHLEQUAH Feathers will fly on Saturday, Nov. 3, when hundreds of students from across the state converge on Tahlequah for the first Northeastern State University RiverHawk Rally.

RiverHawk Rally is the first opportunity for many students to tour NSU and Tahlequah and get acquainted with what the university and community have to offer during their college search, said Jason Jessie, director of High School and College Relations. These students and their families will have the opportunity discover for themselves what makes NSU such a great place to pursue their education.

Students will have the opportunity to tour the main NSU campus in Tahlequah, talk to current students, meet with faculty and staff and tour various housing options available on campus.

Families will also have free admission to the RiverHawks football game at 2 p.m. at Doc Wadley Stadium. Join the RiverHawks tailgaters and enjoy a free lunch before the game.
