Tahlequah Arts Guild Hosts Second Annual Summer Arts Invitational

The Tahlequah Arts Guild Second Annual Summer Arts Invitational kicked off Thursday, July 5 at the Northeastern State University Gallery.

This year's work features a number of local artists working in a wide variety of two and three-dimensional media. Participating artists include Joyce Barnes, Cedar Carrier, Barbara Dalley, Troy Jackson, Donna Jones, Cathy Leigh Lamb, CA Lathrop, Bobby C. Martin, Kelie Myers, Alphie Peniston, Debby Stenberg, Jim Terrell and Mickel Yantz.

The exhibition kicked off with an opening reception on Thursday, July 5, that provided an opportunity for the public to meet the artists and view their work. The show runs until July 28.

The NSU Gallery is located at 325 N. Muskogee Ave. in downtown Tahlequah. Summer hours are 12-5 p.m. Wednesday to Friday, and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday. For more information, call the gallery at 918-444-4604.
