NSU Career Services Hosts Teacher Fair

BROKEN ARROW Northeastern State University Career Services will host the Fall 2007 Teacher Fair on Monday, Nov.12, at NSU Broken Arrow Campus, Building A.
School representatives will have the opportunity to meet with potential employees and discuss employment opportunities during an Open Forum from 1011:30 am. Representatives may conduct preliminary interviews with pre-selected candidates from noon to 4 p.m.
The Teacher Fair is an integral part of the education process providing education majors with information about the education entities and employment opportunities, said Gayle Anderson, coordinator of Career Services. Participants will discuss the types of teaching careers and vacancies within their entity and the required qualifications. We have 184 students graduating in December to become teachers and all of these students will be in attendance. The fair is open to the public and all attendees should come dressed for success and bring plenty of resumes.
Employers from across the region will be at the fair, Allen Bowden Public Schools, ANW Education Cooperative, Arkansas City USD, Association of Professional Oklahoma Educators, Bartlesville Public Schools, Broken Arrow Public Schools, Community Action Project, Derby USD, Edmond Public Schools, Gainesville ISD, Gore Public Schools, Haysville USD, Independence USD, Lincoln Christian School, Locust Grove Public Schools, Muskogee County Head Start, Nickerson-South Hutchinson USD, North Texas Teacher Job Network-Dallas Area, Owasso Public Schools, Sand Springs Public Schools, Shawnee Public Schools, Teachers-Teachers.com, Tri-County Interlocal, Tulsa Public Schools, Union Public Schools, Salina Public Schools USD, Vinita Public Schools, Wichita Public Schools.
