NSU hosts Illinois River Arts & Crafts Festival

(Tahlequah, Okla.)--Featuring some of the areas most talented artists, the Illinois River Arts & Crafts Festival is Nov. 4-6 in the University Center Sen. Herb Rozell Ballroom at Northeastern State University.

Hours are 10 a.m. 6 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. 6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission and parking are free.

The festival will include vendors selling arts, crafts, food and beverages. Available items will include handmade jewelry, wooden board games, homemade soaps, candle makers, handmade furniture, wood crafts, scarves, fiber crafts and homemade dyes and sweaters.

The Illinois River Arts & Crafts Festival, an annual event in the 1980s and 90s, returned to NSU in 2010 and is an opportunity to meet local artists and choose one-of-a-kind gifts.
