Homecoming weekend at NSU features Champagne Fashion Palooza

(Tahlequah, Okla.)--Want to see the latest fashions without traveling outside Tahlequah? Then make plans to gather round the runway for the Northeastern State University Alumni Associations Champagne Fashion Palooza presented by Century 21 Wright Real Estate.

The inaugural event will be held Friday, Oct. 14, from 11 a.m. 1 p.m. in the Sen. Herb Rozell Ballroom of the University Center. Champagne Fashion Palooza is part of NSUs superhero-themed 2011 homecoming, Truth, Justice and the Northeastern Way.

This homecoming activity is open to anyone who wants to join us for a fashion show, complete with champagne and the latest trends, said Erin Feller, Alumni Center database coordinator and organizer of the event. Attendees will also be treated to lunch, and vendor tables will be set up for the shows participants.

Admission to Champagne Fashion Palooza is not restricted to alumni. Tickets are $25 for members of the NSU Alumni Association and $30 for non-members.

Local businesses will be taking part in the fashion show, Feller said. Currently about a dozen have signed up to submit entries and we are expecting more.

Those who purchase tickets by Oct. 10 are entered into an early-bird drawing. Tickets can be bought online by visiting the Homecoming pageand clicking on the Purchase tickets link below the Champagne Fashion Palooza entry. Ticket purchasing is also available for other homecoming events, including the football game.
