Morrison book signing Oct. 30

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. -- Cindy Morrison, Emmy-award winning TV journalist will be on the Tahlequah campus Tuesday, Oct. 30 to sign copies of her book, "Girlfriends 2.0".
She will be at the RiverHawk Shoppe on the first floor of the University Center from 2-3 p.m. In her book (subtitled Why You Must Reboot and Upgrade Your Girlfriends NOW!) Morrison explores ways that women can surround themselves with a supportive girlfriend network and build a more balanced life, both personally and professionally.
Before becoming an entrepreneur, Morrison worked for two decades as a news anchor and investigative reporter in the Tulsa and Oklahoma City television markets. She is winner of an Emmy, Peabody, and Gracie Allen Award for work which includes coverage of the 1995 bombing of the Murrah Building in Oklahoma City and the 1993 Branch Davidian standoff in Waco, Texas. "Oklahoma Magazine" has called her a trendsetter. Morrison is also national spokesperson for the Tulsa based company Clear-tone.
Morrison is serving as the emcee for the 4th annual Northeastern Oklahoma Regional Summit to be held at NSUs University Center Oct. 30-31.
