NSU Emerald Ball delivers entertainment

(Tahlequah, Oklahoma)--Northeastern State University in partnership with the NSU Foundation and NSU Alumni Association announced the highly anticipated entertainment for its annual Emerald Ball. Wynonna and the Big Noise will take the stage to perform songs from their debut album as well as classics from Wynonnas time with The Judds and her solo career onSept. 24at the NSU Event Center.
Emerald Ball rounds out a very NSU spirit filled week of university and student led activities such as the community wide street fair, bonfire and spirit rally, fireworks display, homecoming court elections and parade.
Emerald Ball is NSU's premier gala benefiting student scholarships. The green-tie event includes dinner, auction, a drawing for emerald jewelry and the main entertainment of Wynonna and the Big Noise.
Emerald Ball promises a full night of entertainment. With the Emerald Ball Experience, patrons receive admittance to the Patrons Reception presented by Northeastern Health System, floor seating for dinner banquet, auction, emerald giveaway, Wynonna and the Big Noise concert and more live music, dancing and drinks at the After Party Ball which is presented by One Degree Lawn Care and Landscaping. The Emerald Ball Experience can be purchased for $175.
Those who simply want to see Wynonna and the Big Noise perform can purchase concert-only tickets with prices ranging from $35 to $70. The premium concert experience is $70 and includes chair back seating, free refreshments at the Bank of Cherokee County Hospitality Porch and an invitation to the After Party Ball.
Attendees of the Emerald Ball Experience are encouraged to join the reception beginning at6 p.m. and doors to the arena floor will open at6:45 p.m.with dinner and program beginning at7 p.m.Doors for the Concert-only attendees will open at approximately8:30 p.m.with the show beginning at approximately at9:15 p.m.
