NSU Career and Graduate School Fair is March 7

(Tahlequah, Okla.)--Looking to launch your career or fill an open position? Then Northeastern State Universitys Career and Graduate School fair is for you.

The Office of Career Services invites local job, internship and education recruiters to its spring gathering on March 7 from 10 a.m. 12:30 p.m. in the Herb Rozell Ballroom of the University Center in Tahlequah.

The fair is a networking event allowing organizations and institutions to meet potential employees and graduate students. Recruiters can discuss full and part-time positions, internships, and the application process with NSU students. Graduate schools can also share application requirements and information.

Whether looking to launch a career, seeking an internship or continuing ones education, this is the forum to get questions answered and seek direction, said Gayle Anderson, Career Services coordinator. We remind students and alumni to be prepared order business cards now, fine-tune the resumes and practice communication skills with Optimal Resume.

The event is open to NSU students and alumni, and admission is free. Appropriate attire is business professional and attendees should bring several resumes. NSU students who participate will be entered in a drawing for an iPad2.

Additional information is also available online at the Career Services web page. Included is a link for employers and recruiters to register for this and other Career Services events. Employers and graduate schools must complete the online registration by March 2 to participate in the Career and Graduate School Fair. A link to a list of attending employers and recruiters is available on the site and is regularly updated.

Booth spaces are filling up quickly, Anderson said. "This is a great opportunity for employers and graduate schools to establish a campus presence and develop student recognition of their organizations, and also to promote their organizations through our marketing efforts."
