NSU announces 2012 Ovation honorees

(Tahlequah, Okla.)--Northeastern State University will honor its outstanding students at the 2012 Ovation Awards Ceremony on April 21 at 10 a.m. in the University Center Sen. Herb Rozell Ballroom during Green and White Weekend.

Sponsored by First Year Experience, the Alumni Association and the Division of Student Affairs, the Ovation Awards Ceremony recognizes NSU's outstanding seniors, freshmen and Hall of Fame recipients.

For the 2011-12 academic year, 11 students will receive the Jack Kaufman Outstanding Senior Award, another 10 will be named Outstanding Freshmen and four as Student Hall of Fame honorees.

NSU's Green and White Weekend is April 20-21. The 44th Honors Assembly recognizing student achievement is Friday at 7:30 p.m. in the UC Rozell Ballroom and the NSU Student Leadership Breakfast is at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday in the UC Redbud Room. The weekend also features the football team's annual Green and White Game at 3 p.m. on Saturday at Doc Wadley Stadium.
