TAHLEQUAH, Okla. -- The Green & White Room will boast a new name in addition to a new look when its doors open Sept. 14 for the first home game of the 2013 season. Recently, BancFirst branch president Mark Gish announced a significant funding commitment, securing the naming rights for the remodeled BancFirst Green &White Room located on the west side of Doc Wadley Stadium.
We are excited to work with BancFirst again in a continued collaboration with NSU, said Daniel Johnson, Alumni Services Director. we've been fortunate to work with them on many projects and appreciate their continued support.
Individual contributions continue to come in and Johnson urges all alumni to add their support. The university and Alumni Association have provided for the construction and improved infrastructure, said Johnson. But, were making a final push to make sure we have the kind of furnishings we need to make the room special.
The BancFirst Green & White room will be about 25 percent larger with comfortable furnishings, flat- screen TVs and improved restroom facilities. With the expanded entryway, improved catering and serving space, and the cozy comfort of a living room environment, Johnson said that it will be the perfect spot before, during and after the big game.
