'Biloxi Blues' hits the stage on Feb. 26

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. -- Northeastern State University's Galaxy of Stars Series, presented by the Sequoyah Institute, continues with a performance of Neil Simon's Biloxi Blues by the Montana Repertory Theatre.

The presentation is Feb. 26 at 7:30 p.m. in the NSU Center for the Performing Arts, 605 N. Grand Ave. NSU students are admitted free.

Neil Simons Biloxi Blues follows the story of Eugene Morris Jerome and his fellow Army inductees as they undergo basic training near Biloxi, Miss., during the Second World War. The comedy tells the story of young men preparing for war facing the same fears, anxieties and loneliness that grip all about to encounter the test of combat.

Following the performance, Montana Repertory Theatre cast members will take part in a Beyond the Stage discussion and Q&A with the audience at the NSU Center for the Performing Arts.

Prices per individual ticket are $20 for adults, $18 for NSU alumni, $16 for NSU employees and seniors 60 and over, and $10 for students. Those presenting an NSU student ID are admitted in upper level seating for free.
