TAHLEQUAH, Okla. -- Northeastern State University campuses in Tahlequah, Muskogee and Broken Arrow will be closed immediately and classes canceled for Wednesday, February 20.

Although roadways are considered passable, the National Weather Service is predicting continued periods of snow and ice. In past few minutes, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol has communicated to us that roads are deteriorating in several parts of our service area. All essential personnel are expected to continue work through their scheduled times. If you are uncertain whether you are considered essential, please check with your supervisor. Officials will continue to monitor the weather and updates will be available through the NSU homepage, Facebook and email.

All faculty, staff and students are reminded to use caution when traveling to and from campus. Do not put yourself at risk to reach work or classes. The safety of students and employees is the No. 1 priority when implementing the inclement weather policy.
