College of Extended Learning offers several spring courses

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. -- In an effort to embrace NSUs Destination 2023 initiative, the
College of Extended Learning is opening its doors to all who are motivated to learn
and enrich their lives. There are more opportunities than ever before through new
classes, programs and services to the community. This college includes: Continuing
Education, Language and Culture Center, Degree Completion and Certificate Programs.
The goal of this college is to provide opportunities to change lives and improve career paths. Those who participate are better equipped to take on the daily challenges in the workplace today. Several paths for those who wish to complete a degree are Criminal Justice, Health Care Administration, Human and Family Services, Reach Higher (Organizational Management) and Emergency Management. There are also Academic Outreach programs offered, such as ACT Preparation Camps and CPA review.
Community and Personal Enrichment courses includes; Dance and Fitness, Health and Wellness, Homeschooling and Education Helpers, Special Interests and Youth programs, as well.
The Professional Development portion of Continuing Education offers several different options: Workshops and Series, Managing Human Resources, Technology and Workplace Preparedness Program.
The new Language and Cultural Center is offering: English as a Second Language, Confucius Classroom a culturally enriched program that promotes the Chinese culture and Language Workshops and Series.
