NSUBA presents the Fall 2014 Biology and Chemistry Seminar Series

(Broken Arrow, Okla.)--Northeastern State Universitys College of Science and Health Professions is rolling out its Fall 2014 Biology and Chemistry Seminar Series at the NSU-Broken Arrow campus. This series will include speakers with topics of interest in three different areas of study.
Sept. 26 - Hanging On To Your Sister: Using Frog Egg Extracts to Study Chromosome Cohesion, presented by Dr. Susannah Rankin, representing the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation. The faculty host is Dr. Sapna Das-Bradoo, Assistant Professor of Molecular Biology at NSUBA.
Oct. 24- Host-bacterial Factors in Health and Disease, presented by Dr. Anil K. Kaul, representing Oklahoma State University-Center for Health Sciences. The faculty host is Dr. Sapna Das-Bradoo, Assistant Professor of Molecular Biology at NSUBA.
Nov. 21- Is It Sound Or Vibration? Studying Animal Communication, presented by Dr. Peggy S. M. Hill, representing the University of Tulsa. The faculty host is Dr. Erik Terdal, Associate Professor of Biology at NSUBA.
There is no charge to attend the seminar series and they are open to all who wish to attend. Complimentary cookies and coffee will be provided for all guests in attendance. The Biology and Chemistry Seminar Series is arranged by Dr. Sapna Das-Bradoo, Assistant Professor of Molecular Biology.
Each lecture will be one hour long and will be at 10 a.m. at the NSU-Broken Arrow campus in the Liberal Arts Building, room 212, 3100 E. New Orleans St, Broken Arrow, Okla. 74014.
