TAHLEQUAH, Okla. -- Beginning the last week of March, NSU will offer two eight-week courses to help individuals who are preparing for the CPA exam.

Business Environment and Concepts will be offered in two sessions, Wednesday evenings from 6-9 p.m., March 26 through May 14, and Saturday mornings from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., March 29 through May 17. Regulations will be offered Saturday afternoons from 1:30-4:30 p.m., March 29 through May 17. All classes will take place on the NSU Broken Arrow campus, Administrative Services Building, Room 170. Fees for each course are $700.

The CPA Review course is designed to prepare candidates for the CPA examination. This classroom-based instructional series will be facilitated by highly qualified and engaging instructors who are passionate about their students. In addition, the course features Gleim instructional materials. This comprehensive overview will provide students with the fundamental knowledge necessary to prepare for all parts of the examination.

Many students take multiple CPA Review courses to prepare for the exam, said Rylee Ketcher, director of Continuing Education for NSU. The Auditing and Attestation course and the Financial Accounting and Reporting course are offered the first eight weeks of each semester and the Business Environment and Concepts course and the Regulations course are offered the second eight weeks of each semester.

Students interested in enrolling in the CPA Review courses are not required to apply for admission to the university. All enrollment can be completed by Wednesday, March 19 through the Continuing Education office, located at 512 N. Muskogee Ave., in Tahlequah.

Most of the CPA Review programs available in the Tulsa and northeastern Oklahoma areas are online, we offer one of the only face-to-face programs, said Ketcher. Our program is open to everyone, no pre-requisites or admission to the University required. Our courses are lead by experienced CPAs.
