Continuing Education summer camp details released

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. -- Northeastern State Universitys Continuing Education will offer several camp opportunities throughout the summer.

Camps include: Printmaking Camp, Kids Crafts, Kids Jewelry Making, General Art Camp, Creative Drawing, Imaginative Drawing, Still Life Painting for Beginners, Cartooning Basics, Illustration, Poster Design, Piata Making, Tennis Camp, Kayak Camp, Hiking and Biking, Summer Fun and Fitness, Survivor Camp, Junior Science, CSI Camp, Robo Camps, LEGO Camps, Flute Workshop, Music and Art Exploration, Music and Art Around the World and Junior Martial Arts.

Another option is the College Readiness Camp for incoming high school junior and seniors. This camp is designed to equip students with the knowledge needed to get ready for college. This is an opportunity for students to ask questions about processes, requirements, time frames and more. This information is crucial for preparing for college, regardless of where the student wants to go.

NSUs College Readiness Camp is June 12-14 at the NSU-Tahlequah campus. Students will engage in ACT Prep Classes, take the ACT National Test, do a Q&A with university departments, and meet current NSU students.

The cost of this camp is $253, which includes housing, meals and materials. This fee however, does not include the cost of the ACT. Students must register for the National ACT Test at actstudent.org. Registration deadline is May 9.
