NSU Psychology Faculty Presents Research at Oxford University

Northeastern State University faculty member and Cherokee Nation citizen Alissa Baker-Oglesbee was invited to talk about her research at the University of Oxford in Oxford, England in early June.She presented her psychological study The Fallibility of Science in Moral Reasoning at the Experiments and Ethics conference.

Oxfords philosophy department hosted the interdisciplinary conference and was intended to foster dialogue and explore connections among various empirical and theoretical approaches to ethics.

Baker-Oglesbee of Jay, Okla., earned her bachelors degree in psychology from NSU in 2008. She earned her Master of Science degree in experimental psychology from Fayetteville State University in Fayetteville, N.C. in 2011.

Baker-Oglesbee has been a full-time instructor in NSUs Department of Psychology and Counseling since 2011.
