(Tahlequah, Okla.) Beginning on Friday, Oct 24, students and community members will have the opportunity to learn the unique history of Seminary Hall through story-telling, and quite possibly ghostly encounters.

From 8 to 11 p.m. on Oct, 24, 25, 31 and Nov. 1, those interested can take a guided tour in NSUs oldest building, where according to legend, the ghost of Florence Wilson, the principal of the Cherokee Nation Female Seminary in the 19th century, haunts the halls.

I cannot give away the highlight of the tour, Ashley Wanger, a graduate student at NSU and tour guide said, But I can say that the third floor is where the most activity occurs.

The group has been giving the Haunted Seminary Hall tours for several years, and because of the amount of occurrences reported in the building, Seminary Hall has elicited attention of numerous ghost hunters from the area.

Admission to the tour is $5 per person. Children 12 and under may tour for free. For more information, contact Ashley Wanger or Sara Chappell at 918-444-3686 or email wanger@nsuok.edu.
