NSU 2014 Welcome Week

This week began with the NAB Welcome Back Tailgate at Beta Field, Sunday, Aug. 17, and there are still plenty of fun events planned throughout the week at both NSU-Tahlequah and NSU-Broken Arrow.
Monday, Aug. 18 is NABs Merchant Mall from 5 - 8 p.m. in the UC Ballroom. Students can stop by to fill up a NAB bag with tons of free stuff. Local businesses provide countless freebies and giveaways. All students have to do is show up.
Following Merchant Mall from 8 - 10 p.m. students are invited to join the BCM for Impact Praise and Worship at the Second Century Square.
Tuesday, Aug. 19 is the RHA Luau from 6 - 8 p.m. in the UC Ballroom. This event offers students the opportunity to meet all the different organizations on NSUs campus and connect with several other students on campus.
The ABC Pool Party is from 8 - 10 p.m. at the Seminary Suites Pool. Students are invited to Relax and hang out with the members of the Association for Black Collegiates and learn all about their organization.
Wednesday, Aug. 20 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. is the NSGA Meet and Greet between the Center for Performing Arts and Seminary Hall.
A free concert at the Center for Performing Arts will be performed by Six Appeal, the talented acapella group will perform their incredible musical styling talents from 7 - 8 p.m.
Thursday, Aug. 21 is the NAB Glow Dance Party at Beta Field from 9 - 10 p.m. Students are invited to jam out in their glow gear with music provided by NSUs very own RiverHawk DJ. There will be free food, awesome music and good times.

NSU-Broken Arrow Welcome Week 2014
Monday, Aug. 18 from 3 - 5 p.m. in the Administrative Services Building is the Vendor and Volunteer Fair. Students are invited to enjoy ice cream, giveaways and get signed up to win prizes.
Tuesday, Aug. 19 is the Student Organization and Student Services Fair from 3 - 5 p.m. in the Administrative Services Lobby. Students can learn about all the services NSU has to offer and how they may get involved on campus. There will also be free ice cream and giveaways.
Wednesday, Aug. 20 is the Welcome Back Bash from 5 - 7 p.m. on the University Front Lawn. There will be inflatables and free sno cones. Students are encouraged to come out and bring their children to enjoy the event.
Thursday, Aug. 21 in the Student Affairs Office, Suite 211 from 1 - 3 p.m. is the Student Affairs Meet and Greet. This provides an opportunity for students to meet the Student Affairs staff, play some ping pong and Wii. The first 250 people to attend will receive a free hot dog.
Friday, Aug. 22 is Movie on the Lawn at 8:30 p.m. All are invited to view Disneys Maleficent on the University Front Lawn. Attendees are asked to bring their family, blankets, lawn chairs while enjoying free popcorn and drinks.
