NSGA provides community with Halloween-themed fun

Published: 2014-10-27

(Tahlequah, Okla.) Northeastern State University 's NSGA will be hosting a Halloween Carnival on Wednesday, Oct. 29 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the parking lot across from the Jack Dobbins Fieldhouse in Tahlequah.

The event will have many different activities and booths such as ring-tosses, pumpkin bowling, mystery bowls and many other games that include candy or some sort of prize for winning.

All booths, activities and goodies at the carnival will be free of charge throughout the night.

There will be a costume contest for those who choose to enter starting at 7 p.m. The costume contest for the children will be judged on stage by a small panel of NSGA representatives and the adult contest will be judged by some of the children that participated in the costume contest. There will be prizes for both age groups for both a male and a female.

We are hoping to have approximately 500 people in attendance throughout the night, Roy Golden, a member of NSGA said. It will be a great event for both students, staff and faculty and the Tahlequah community.
