NSU Science & Technology Seminar Series comes to an end

(Tahlequah, Okla.)--The final speaker of the Fall 2014 Science & Technology Seminar Series is Dr. Tom Glass who will be joining NSU from Oklahoma State Universitys Center for Health Sciences, School of Forensic Science on Nov. 19.

Glass will be presenting his lecture, Binkies and Bacteria or Why Does My Baby Continue to be Sick. He is a professor of Forensics Sciences, Pathology and Dental Medicine as well as an adjunct professor of Microbiology. Glass is a board-certified Oral and Maxillofacial Pathologist. His expertise includes 25 years as Chief Forensic Odon'tologist for the State of Oklahoma. He is also Professor Emeritus of Oral Pathology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.

He holds a D.D.S. degree from Emory University and a Ph.D. in Pathology from the University of Chicago. Glass is widely published and active in numerous professional scientific organizations. He is a featured speaker at scientific meetings on forensics and transmission of disease, the areas in which he conducts research.

The Science & Technology Seminar Series is arranged by Dr. John de Banzie, professor of biology. There is no charge for the seminars and they are open to all who wish to attend.
