NSU offers special education boot camp courses

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. -- Northeast Oklahoma school districts offering the HB 1233 boot camp, have the opportunity to now enroll in three Northeastern State University Special Education courses for a total of nine credit hours.

The courses are as follows:

SPED 4213: Foundations, Future Trends and Current Issues in Special Education; online course.

SPED 4233: Instructional Strategies for Students with Disabilities; NSU-Tahlequah (Wednesdays, 5:30-8:30 p.m.); NSUBA (Wednesdays, 4:30-7:30 p.m.)

SPED 4253: Instructional Evaluation and Implementation for Students with Disabilities; NSU-
Tahlequah (Tuesdays, 4:30-7:30 p.m.); NSUBA (Mondays, 4:30-7:10 p.m.)

The districts that have candidates participating in these boot camps need to indicate that they will be taking these course at NSU on their districts boot camp application if they are interested in doing so.
