Tickets still available for remaining weekends of NSU’s River City Players

(Tahlequah, Oklahoma)--With only a few weekends left to catch a show, there is no better time to secure your Northeastern State University River City Players tickets than now. The 2017 season shows 60s Retro Jukebox, 70s Country Music and 80s Movie Soundtrack can be seen at the NSU Playhouse until Aug. 5.

Dr. Robyn Pursley, chair of Art and Drama, said RCP is having a spectacular season of shows.

Our longtime patrons have been consistently telling us that these are some of the best shows they have ever seen at RCP, she said.

80s Movie Soundtrack features blockbuster soundtracks from popular 80s movies and performances are held Thursdays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m; 70s Country Radio includes country music hits from the 1970s and shows can be seen Fridays at 7:30 p.m.; and 60s Retro Jukebox is reminiscent of the days of the diners and rock and roll legends with shows Saturdays at 2 p.m.

Pursley said shows have been selling well, but there are still tickets available for some of the performances.

We encourage interested patrons to make their reservations soon rather than later.

Performances take place in the NSU Playhouse and tickets cost $13 for adults, $11 for NSU alumni and employees, $10 for seniors and groups of twelve or more and $7 for children.
