Women's soccer hosts Run For Your Color 5K

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. -- Northeastern State Universitys Green & White Weekend begins with the second annual Run for Your Color 5K, Thursday, April 3. The womens soccer team is hosting this event which begins at 5:30 p.m. with check-in on race day from 3:30-5:15 p.m.

Those interested in participating in the 5K can register online at www.nsualumni.com/run4color or turn in registration forms into the athletic administrations office inside of the NSU Event Center. Registration will also be available on the day of the race.

Participants that do register prior to the race day will receive a T-shirt, which will be given to them from 3:30-5:30 p.m. on race day. Pick up will be at the registration table located in the Centennial Plaza in front of the Sequoyah statue. T-shirts are only available while supplies last.

The course begins at the Sequoyah statue and will take all participants on a scenic route through the NSU-Tahlequah campus, while being splashed with colors along the way. At each kilometer, there will be a new round of colors for runners.

The cost for registration is $20 per person and all proceeds will benefit the NSU womens soccer team.
