(Tahlequah, Okla.)--Northeastern State Universitys Career Services department is hosting its semi-annual Career and Graduate School Fair on Wednesday, Feb. 25 from 12-2 p.m. in the University Center Ballroom, Tahlequah campus.

The popular fair provides students, higher education institutions and potential employers the opportunity to meet NSU students and alumni in an informal setting to recruit for educational and career opportunities.

This is a networking event for our students and alumni to visit with companies and graduate schools. Students can find out about full-time & part-time job opportunities, internships, as well as the application processes for graduate schools, Molly Bennett, intern for the Hospitality & Tourism Management department at NSU, said.

The event is open to NSU students and alumni, and admission is free. Appropriate attire is business professional and attendees are encouraged to bring several copies of their resume, as well as business cards.

Career Services offers numerous services for students to prepare for the event, including Optimal Resume software, free business cards (available upon request through Career Services), and one-on-one resume critique sessions.Career Services is located in the CASE Building, Upper Level on the Tahlequah campus.

This is an important event to attend because it gives a networking opportunity for students. It's important to gain connections to companies and graduate schools before graduation so that it will be easier to find a job upon graduating,Bennett said.

No formal RSVP is necessary for students or alumni members who plan to attend. For those interested in having a booth at the fair, registration can be found on the Career Services' website.
