Montana Repertory Theatre to present The Great Gatsby at NSU

(Tahlequah, Okla.)--Northeastern State University welcomes back the Montana Repertory Theatre on Monday, Feb. 23 at 7:30 p.m. in the NSU Center for the Performing Arts. After exceptional performances of To Kill a Mockingbird and Biloxi Blues, they return for the third time with F. Scott Fitzgeralds The Great Gatsby.
Now one of the oldest and most respected touring companies in the country, Montana Repertory Theatre continues telling great American stories. They approach The Great Gatsby with all the honor and care such an outstanding work of art deserves, while reintroducing and reinvigorating this classic, bringing the beauty and poetry of this masterpiece living and breathing on stage, to a new generation of theatergoers.
Montana Rep assembles principal actors, directors and designers with prestigious credits, including Broadway, Off-Broadway, national tours of Broadway shows, and major regional theatre credits. They were established as a professional touring company in 1967, providing professional theatre at an affordable cost. Their mission is to tell the great stories of the world to enlighten, develop and celebrate the human spirit in an ever-expanding community.

As a part of NSUs Sequoyah Institute, the Galaxy of Stars Series fosters cultural enrichment beyond the classroom, and promotes the experience and understanding of the fine arts through the presentation of national and international performing artists to students and the community.
