NSUBA hosts 1,500 Pound Food Drive – Aug 15-26

(Broken Arrow, Oklahoma)--During the first week of fall classes, Northeastern State Universitys Broken Arrow campus hopes to fill our nest with a 1,500 Pound Food Drive. The NSUBA RiverHawk Food Pantry will collect donations to fill its newly renovated spaceAugust 15 through 26at any of their drop off locations: first floor of the Education building, first floor of the Liberal Arts building, first floor of the Library, second floor of the Administrative Services building, and outside of the Hawks Nest and Student Affairs offices.

The RiverHawk Food Pantry is in desperate need of personal hygiene products such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo and deodorant. Staple food items such as peanut butter and pasta are also needed, Jessica Roberts, coordinator of community engagement, said.

We are working to collect 15 hundred pounds of food and hygiene products for our students in honor of the 15th anniversary of the Broken Arrow campus.

Regular demand items include peanut butter, noodles, rice, canned meatstuna, chicken, salmon and SPAM, mixed vegetables, personal hygiene items, laundry soap, household cleaning items and paper productstoilet paper, paper towels and tissues.
