NSUBA presents the fall 2016 Biology and Chemistry Seminar Series

(Broken Arrow, Oklahoma)--The fall 2016 Biology and Chemistry Series at the Northeastern State University Broken Arrow campus begins Sept. 23.

Presented by the NSU College of Science & Health Professions and arranged by Dr. Sapna Das-Bradoo, assistant professor of molecular biology, the series includes speakers with topics of interest in three different areas of study:

Sept. 23- Renal function related to protein and salt excretion in males and females: are there differences? presented by Dr. Alexander J. Rouch, representing Oklahoma State University, Center for Health Sciences. This will be hosted by NSU faculty member, Das-Bradoo.

Oct. 28- Come on feel the noise; the effect of substrate-borne vibrational disturbance on animal behavior presented by Dr. Daniel Howard, representing the University of New Hampshire. This will be hosted by NSU faculty member, Dr. Erik Terdal.

Nov. 18- Why viruses are important to study presented by Dr. Akhtar Ali, representing the University of Tulsa. This will be hosted by NSU faculty member, Das-Bradoo.

There is no charge to attend seminars within the series and all events are open to the public. Complimentary cookies and coffee will be provided for all guests in attendance.

Each one-hour lecture begins at 10 a.m. at the NSUBA campus in the Administrative Services Building, Room 141 (Auditorium), 3100 E. New Orleans, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, 74014.
