Published: 2017-04-27
Northeastern State University publicly launched its largest campaign to date, Preserve our past, ENSUre Our Future, on April 22 with a goal of raising $25,075,000.
The public launch event included a special presentation of the eighth annual Presidents Circle and Lifetime Giving Awards. Green and white balloons dropped as the NSU fight song played and President Steve Turner announced that the university has already raised $18,622,111 toward its goal.
The campaign has a focus on four project areas: students, faculty, facilities and athletics. On the lengthy list of projects this campaign will support are endowed scholarships, endowed chairs and professorships, professional development for faculty and new and revitalized facilities for academics, veterans and athletics.
The Preserve our past, ENSUre Our Future campaign will transform NSU, and its impact will be felt for decades. The projects this campaign will support will raise the bar of both expectation and achievement at NSU.
Contributions can be made as a one-time or recurring gift or as a pledge over a five-year period. Donations can be made in cash, check or credit card and can be mailed to the NSU Foundation or paid online at nsugiving.com/ensure.
Gifts of any size are appreciated and will contribute to the campaign goal. In 2016, gifts of $20 or less totaled an impressive $35,740.34.
