(Broken Arrow, Oklahoma) -- Northeastern State University Broken Arrow will offer a seven-session prep course for the Medical College Admission Test beginning in January.
The course will meet 9 a.m.-12 p.m. on Saturdays Jan. 13-Feb. 24, and will be taught by instructors from NSU, Oral Roberts University, Rogers State University and the University of Tulsa. Sessions will include critical analysis and reasoning, physics, general chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry, biology and psychology & sociology.
The course is $995 and includes Examkrackers 10th edition, MCAT study guides, a set of Association of American Medical Colleges flashcards and a full AAMC MCAT practice test.
Organizer Jerreth McLaughlin said the fee is less than half of what students would pay elsewhere for a similar prep course with in-person coaching.
In our course, you have access to live professional coaching from day one, McLaughlin said. Preparing with a group will keep you on track and develop your confidence and competence to pass the exam.
