NSU Wind Ensemble invites community to free performance

(Tahlequah, Oklahoma) -- The Northeastern State University Wind Ensemble will open its 2017-18 season with a performance of major works originally written for symphony orchestra at 7 p.m. on Sept. 29 at the NSU Center for the Performing Arts.

Set for the Friday of homecoming weekend, No Strings Attached: An Evening of Orchestra Music by the NSU Wind Ensemble will include works by Tchaikovsky, Sibelius, Elgar, Hindemith, and a full performance of The Firebird Suite by Igor Stravinsky.

The community is invited to attend this free performance.
