NSU Wind Ensemble presents WATER

Tahlequah, Oklahoma -- The Northeastern State University Wind Ensemble will present WATER: A Performance of at 7 p.m. March 9 at the NSU Center for the Performing Arts.

The NSU Wind Ensemble celebrates this crucial element with a performance of music inspired by, dedicated to or depicting water. From the Baroque period through modern movie music, the performance will depict a journey through the courts of kings, down flowing rivers, under the oceans and over the seas as pirates.

The evening will include music by Handel, Whitacre, Smetana and Hans Zimmer. The concert is family-friendly and open to all. No umbrella required.
