Northeastern State University hosts Gubernatorial Forum

Published: 2018-03-30

(Tahlequah, Oklahoma) - Northeastern State University is hosting a Gubernatorial Forum April 3 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the University Center Ballroom on the Tahlequah campus. The forum is sponsored by the Oklahoma Academy, Cherokee Nation and NSU.

The Oklahoma Academy traditionally hosts the forum during gubernatorial election years to encourage the public to find out more about the candidates and issues. All candidates for governor are invited and receive an outline of possible questions that cover some Town Hall topics.

At the end of the forum, audience members may ask questions, and candidates will be given time for a final statement or rebuttal.

The event is free and open to the public. Seating is first come, first serve.
