NSU and RISE Scholars host Founder’s Day 5K

(Tahlequah, Oklahoma) - Northeastern State University and the RiverHawks Initiating Service and Engagement Scholars are hosting the annual Founders Day 5K on March 10. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. at the NSU Continuing Education building. Two race options will be available: the 1K Fun Run will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the 5K will begin at 9 a.m.

This year the race will be Dr. Seuss themed to commemorate Dr. Seuss birthday and to add an element of fun.

The registration fee for the race is $25 before March 4. For NSU students, faculty and staff the registration fee is $20 using the promo code FD5K18. After March 4 and during on-site registration, the fee is $30. All registration fees cover the cost of your timed race and race T-shirt. All proceeds go directly to the RISE Scholars to use in their efforts to give back to Tahlequah Public Schools and for other needs in the program.
