NSU Alumni Association accepting Distinguished Alumni nominations

(Tahlequah, Oklahoma) - The Northeastern State University Alumni Association is accepting nominations for the 2019 Distinguished Alumni and Outstanding Young Alumni.

The NSU Alumni Association awards are presented annually to NSU alumni who, through personal achievement and service, have brought honor and distinction to both themselves and the university. The person chosen as the Outstanding Young Alumnus has the distinction of having graduated from NSU in the past 20 years.

The 2019 honorees will be recognized during homecoming, at the Alumni Association Honors dinner and during the Emerald Ball.

"We know there are hundreds and hundreds of NSU grads out there making positive impacts in their professions and communities, Daniel Johnson, director of Alumni Services, said. We just don't know who they are specifically, which is why we rely on those in our alumni community to share these good works in the form of a Distinguished Alumnus or Outstanding Young Alumnus nomination. We genuinely love to brag on our graduates when we learn of the great things they're doing."

Nominations will be accepted until May 17.
