BA presents the spring 2019 Biology and Chemistry Seminar Series

(Broken Arrow, Oklahoma) -- The Northeastern State University Broken Arrow campus will begin its spring 2019 Biology and Chemistry Seminar Series on Jan. 25.
Presented by the NSU Gregg Wadley College of Science & Health Professions and arranged by Dr. Sapna Das-Bradoo, associate professor of molecular biology, the series includes speakers with topics in four areas of study.
Jan. 25- Inside the Net: Opioids and the Adolescent Brain presented by Dr. Dolores Vazquez, representing Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences. Dr. Janaki Iyer will host this session.
Feb. 22- Breaking Paradigms in Science presented by Dr. Janaki Iyer, representing NSU. This session will be hosted by Das-Bradoo.
April 5- Active Site Study of Titanium Olefin Polymerization Catalysts presented by Dr. Carlos Cruz, representing Chevron Phillips Chemical Co. Dr. Nathan Green will host this session.
April 26- Genetic Engineering of Microalgae presented by Dr. Ty Johannes, representing University of Tulsa. This session will be hosted by Das-Bradoo.
There is no charge to attend the seminar and the series is open to all who wish to attend. Complimentary cookies and coffee will be provided for guests.
Each one-hour lecture begins at 10 a.m. at the NSUBA campus in the Administrative Services Building, Room 141 (Auditorium), 3100 E. New Orleans, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, 74014.
