NSU professor presents owl research – April 3

(Tahlequah, Oklahoma) - Northeastern State University John Vaughan Library will host Earth is Home for Saw-whet Owls in Oklahoma a presentation by Dr. Mia Revels on April 3 at 2 p.m. in Room 105 in the library.
Revels, a professor of biology, recently discovered that Oklahoma is home to more northern saw-whet owls than previously thought. This visual presentation will explain why surveying cryptic and elusive species is important for conserving them and their habitats.
The presentation is free and open to the public.
