Siouan & Caddoan Languages Conference to be held on NSU-BA

(Broken Arrow, Oklahoma) - The Northeastern State University Department of Languages & Literature will host the 39th annual Siouan & Caddoan Languages Conference on the Broken Arrow campus Liberal Arts Building Room 112 May 30 and 31.
The purpose of the SCLC is to advance the study and teaching of languages from the Siouan and Caddoan language families.
Paper submissions related to the linguistic description of Siouan and/or Caddoan languages are encouraged, as are panel discussions and workshops relating to methods and noteworthy issues in the teaching of Siouan or Caddoan languages. The deadline for submissions, including title, type and abstract, is April 15.
Registration for SCLC is encouraged before April 30 and a registration fee payable in cash or check will be collected at the conference site from all participants to cover catering expenses. Registration fees will cover morning beverage services and catered lunches both days.
