Northeastern State University to host RiverHawk Jam 2025 – Feb. 22

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. ­– Northeastern State University will host its annual RiverHawk Jam event on Feb. 22, which will offer a preview of what life is like on the NSU campus to future students and their guests.

RiverHawk Jam was created to offer individuals who are interested in attending NSU an opportunity to explore a variety of majors and career possibilities. Attendees will tour the campus—visiting two residence halls and the NSU fitness center before attending a student organization and academic college fair where they can engage with student leaders and meet with on-campus student organizations.

Attendees will receive a free lunch, a T-shirt and will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win NSU swag, tuition waivers and bookstore vouchers. Each individual who attends RiverHawk Jam will be provided a discount code which will waive their application fee if they submit their application for admission that day. 

Check-in and on-site registration for the event will begin at 9 a.m. and conclude at 10 a.m. in the University Center.

Parking will be available in the parking lot between the John Vaughan Library and Seminary Suites. Shuttles will be available to transport event participants to and from the event.

Attendees and their guests will also receive complimentary admission to the NSU Basketball vs Missouri Western basketball game. The women’s game begins at 1:30 p.m. with the men’s game to follow at 3:30 p.m.
