TAHLEQUAH, Okla. – Northeastern State University has been ranked the third best college in Oklahoma in Research.com’s 2026 Best Colleges rankings, underscoring NSU’s commitment to academic quality, student success and affordable education.
The annual ranking evaluates colleges and universities using a comprehensive methodology that considers academic excellence, student outcomes, faculty achievements and overall institutional impact. NSU’s top-three placement among Oklahoma institutions reflects the university’s continued focus on preparing students with the knowledge, skills and experiences needed to succeed in today’s workforce.
