NSU’s second 8-week courses begin Oct. 13
TAHLEQUAH, Okla. – Northeastern State University will launch its second 8-week courses for the fall semester on Oct. 13, 2025, offering students an accelerated way to stay on track toward their academic goals.
The condensed courses cover the same learning objectives as a traditional semester class but in half the time. They are designed for a wide range of learners, from first-time college students to working adults balancing school, family and career responsibilities.
University officials note the courses provide opportunities for students who may have missed the start of the semester, need to make up credit hours or want to add additional classes to their schedule.
“NSU is committed to meeting students where they are,” President Rodney Hanley said. “Our second 8-week courses give learners the flexibility they need to succeed—whether they’re beginning their college journey, returning to finish a degree or balancing school with work and family responsibilities.”
Second 8-week classes are offered in multiple subjects, including online formats. Learn more at nsuok.edu/8weeks.
