NSU Alumni Association to Host Cruise

Published: 2006-06-27

TAHLEQUAH - Alumni and friends of Northeastern State University are setting sail for the high seas next year, or at least for some sandy beaches.

The NSU Alumni Association is inviting all NSU alums and friends to join them for an eight-day Eastern Caribbean cruise set for March 3-11, 2007. The cruise sets sail from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and takes travels to several islands, including San Juan, St. Thomas, St. John, Antigua, Tortola, and Virgin Gorda.

"This is a wonderful opportunity for our alumni to get together, make some memories, enjoy a cruise though the Caribbean and support NSU," said Anita Thompson, director of Alumni Relations.

Tickets for the event start $967, with a limited number of cabins available. For each ticket sold, a portion of the proceeds is donated to the NSU Alumni Association. The ticket price includes the cruise package, port taxes, and all federal fees, as well as a $50 per stateroom shipboard credit and Bon Voyage Champagne and Chocolates. A $250 deposit is due by October 20.

Air and transfers are available on request. Passports must be acquired by Jan. 1, 2007. To book a spot on the trip, contact Vacations R Us at 1-866-456-0221.
