NSU student art exhibit opens April 23

(Tahlequah, OK)--The eighth annual Northeastern State University Juried Student Art Exhibition is April 23-May 8 at the NSU Gallery located on Main Street in Tahlequah.

The exhibit features the work of NSU art students in different mediums. Pieces selected for display may range from the traditional drawing, painting, sculpture to the digital.

On April 27 an awards reception is at 6 p.m. at the gallery and the awards ceremony is at 7 p.m. in the Jazz Lab.

The juror is Charles Peer, a professor at John Brown University and a signature member of the Pastel Society of America. He holds a bachelor of arts degree from Hendrix College and a master of fine arts from the University of Arkansas.
