NSU Fall 2010 commencement scheduled Dec. 10-11

Formal commencement ceremonies at Northeastern State University will be held Dec. 10-11 in the Jack Dobbins Field House on the Tahlequah campus.

The College of Education will hold its commencement ceremony on Friday, Dec. 10, at 5 p.m. Faculty speaker for the ceremony will be Dr. Sue Ellen Read, professor of Educational Foundations and Leadership.

Beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday, the College of Business & Technology and the College of Science & Health Professions will announce their graduates, followed by the College of Liberal Arts at noon. Dr. Craig Clifford, professor of Biology, will speak at the 9 a.m. ceremony, while Dr. Don Studebaker, professor of music, will speak at the noon ceremony.

Family and friends who wish to attend the ceremonies must obtain tickets from the graduate. Students will be able to pick up their allotted number of tickets the day of their graduation.

Ceremonies will be streamed live to the W. Roger Webb Educational Technology Center auditorium, located east of the field house, for non-ticketholders.
