The organizations honorable mention recognized an August 2009 grassroots event in which executive Members, Tony Maxville Jr., Jared Rusk, Carl Bell and NSUSF adviser, Penny Moore, went on a road trip to attend the CASE ASAP National Conference on student philanthropy. Along the way, the group planned stops where they held events for NSU Alumni.
Founded in Fall 2009, the NSU Student Foundation educates students on the ideas and beliefs of philanthropy through motivating students to engage in an active role for the support of their university.
