Northeastern State University will broadcast the Oklahoma gubernatorial candidate forum live in Tahlequah on the World Wide Web.

NSU will welcome Democrat candidates Jari Askins and Drew Edmondson and Republican candidates Randy Brogdon, Mary Fallin, Robert Hubbard and Roger Jackson for a community forum organized by the Oklahoma Academy for State Goals.

The forum is July 21 at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of the Webb Technology Center and is open to the public. To extend the forum's reach, NSU has organized live closed-circuit broadcasts to the Muskogee and Broken Arrow campuses and a live webcast will stream on the university website.

ITV feeds will be in Building B room 225 at Broken Arrow and the Synar Center room 141 at Muskogee. The live webcast will be accessible at www.nsuok.edu.

Dr. Tom McKeon, president of Tulsa Community College, will moderate the 90-minute forum during which all candidates will speak and answer questions submitted by the audience.

Doors open at the Webb Center Auditorium at 6 p.m. and the broadcasts begin at 7 p.m.
