Northeastern State launches new mobile app

(Tahlequah, Okla.)--Smartphone users can now access the latest news, weather and sports for Northeastern State University on the go through NSUs free mobile application.
NSUOK is the official Northeastern State University quick reference mobile information app for all three Oklahoma campusesTahlequah, Broken Arrow and Muskogee.
The smartphone application for NSU allows our university to communicate with todays students in a way that is unique to Northeastern, said NSU President Don Betz. Plus, it allows our alumni to stay connected to everything that's happening on our campuses.
"Our mission is to empower students by creating and sustaining a culture of learning and discovery. Timely technology is important to accomplish this, and the new application is another of many tools we're using to ensure that this happens.
Users can download the NSUOK app for iPhone and Andriod smartphone by visiting the Apple App Store or the Andriod Market. The mobile app is also available for non-phones including the iPad and iPod touch.

- Videos - Gain direct access to NSUs YouTube Channel and other YouTube videos
- Athletics - Catch up on news, schedules, scores and rosters for all NSU sports
- Tradition - Listen to NSUs Alma Mater, Fight Song, and brush up on NSU Facts
- Weather - Show campus weather forecasts for Tahlequah, Muskogee and Broken Arrow
- Get Help - Get quick access to important phone numbers such as campus police, then one touch to call
The NSUOK mobile app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad and requires iOS 4.0 or later. The application also is compatible with Android 2.1 or later.
