NSU completes renovations for convenience store, Pizza Hut
TAHLEQUAH, Okla. — Northeastern State University has recently completed updates to the convenience store and Pizza Hut located in North Leoser Hall, a residence facility for upperclassmen, freshmen and sorority students.
The renovations have been an ongoing process over the last few years with the goal to make accessibility easier for students.
“We have been planning this project for a few years now, but had to work through funding and a project timeline,” Dr. Jerrid Freeman, Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management, said. “We appreciate Sodexo’s support in making this project possible for our students and we are excited to see its success.”
Freeman said students’ schedules were at the forefront of topics discussed, acknowledging that student lives do not revolve around the standard workday hours.
“The most exciting part of the project is also the most beneficial,” Freeman said. “Not only were we able to renovate the space and the Pizza Hut, but the self-pay and ability for the space to function 24/7 will be extremely helpful to students.”
The newly renovated space is available to students, faculty and staff and is located on the first floor of North Leoser Hall. Meal plans are also accepted as a form of payment.
