NSU kicks off holiday season with Lights On

TAHLEQUAH, Okla.  — This video contains footage of the 2023 Lights On celebration at Northeastern State University.

This year marks the 31st year of celebration for Lights On, an event set to bring the NSU and Tahlequah communities together for the holiday season with performances and the lighting of historic Seminary Hall. 

NSU President Rodney Hanley welcomed guests for the evening of festivities (:16). The event was co-hosted by NSU First Lady Sara Hanley (shown on the left at :30) and Tahlequah Mayor Suzanne Myers (shown on the right at :30) and featured performances by choirs from Tahlequah elementary schools as well as local dance studios. At the end of the evening attendees counted down and watched as historic Seminary Hall was illuminated with lights for the holiday season (1:36).
